Michell Hut (Bogong Remote and Natural Area)

Michell Hut is situated along the popular Eskdale Spur walking track to the Mt Bogong massif. It has a long history of providing shelter to those caught unprepared by sudden changes in temperature such as heavy snow and fierce winds and other emergency conditions. There is a water tank located at the hut but be sure to treat the water prior to drinking and or bring sufficient for the day or overnight trip.
