Mt Glenrowan Lookout Walk (Warby-Ovens National Park)

The Mt Glenrowan Lookout walk offers unparalleled views of the Ovens and King Valleys and the Victorian Alps. The 9km return walk begins at the stile at Taminick Gap and follows the Ridge Track. Park on the dirt to the side of the Ridge Track, before the gate.

The first section is a short steep climb up the sealed road to the communication towers. If you need a breather, stop on the way up and enjoy the views west towards the Winton Wetlands. With the hardest climb behind you, the rest of the walk to the lookout is moderate to easy.

Walkers should allow 4 hours for the Grade 3 return walk. Mountain bikes are also permitted on this track.

Visitor Tips: wear sturdy footwear and carry plenty of water, especially in hot weather.
