Change of Conditions

Nature being nature, sometimes conditions can change at short notice. It’s a good idea to check this page ahead of your visit for any updates.

Partial closure due to fire

The northeastern part of Wyperfeld National Park remains closed due to fire damage as shown on the attached map. However, southwestern areas, including the Wonga Campground, are open for bookings and visitors from Friday 6 March. Walkers are permitted into the closed area on the Tyakil Nature Walk and Discovery Walk walking tracks, but all vehicles (including bicycles) are prohibited.

For your own safety, please stay on the tracks and do not enter fire-affected areas.
