Paradise Walk (MT COLE/BEERIPMO STATE FOREST, Mount Buangor National Park)
Beginning at The Glut Picnic Area, the 9.2 km return walk takes about 4 hours and is a Grade 3 track suitable for walkers with some bushwalking experience. The trailhead for this walk is a little hidden. From the carpark, head towards the top of the picnic area. Turn right and look across the road, and you’ll see a sign pointing to the start of the trail. The route includes short steep hills, occasional steps, boardwalk crossings and sections of formed track with some obstacles. Along the way, you'll pass through shaded fern gullies, cross small creeks and enjoy elevated views over the forest. Native birdlife is common throughout the walk.
The Glut Picnic Area provides picnic tables and fireplaces near the trailhead. Dogs on lead are permitted in the Glut Picnic Area and along the Paradise Walk. Drinking water is not available, so carry all the water you need for your walk. There are no rubbish bins, so please take all rubbish home. Campfires are only allowed in designated fireplaces where provided and when restrictions are not in place.
Paradise Walk is in the South West Fire District. Bushfire safety is a personal responsibility.
