Toilet blocks have been closed for the foreseeable future due to asbestos testing.

Horseshoe Bend loop track works

There will be work completed on the horseshoe bend loop track between the dates of the 7th of April to the 15th of May. On days of maintenance works, visitors may not be able to complete the walking track. The track may be closed and detours provided.

Part closure to Picnic area C Car park due to contractor use

The lower car park at picnic area c will be partly closed due to contractors using the site working on the lower trail maintenance program. 

Maribyrnong Lower Trail Walking Track maintenance works - Brimbank Park

Sections of the lower trail walking track will have maintenance works completed from the 7th of April to the 15th of May 2026. Parts of the trail will most likely be closed and detours in place while work is being completed.
