Selby Bushland Trail (Selby G190 Bushland Reserve)

Selby G190 Bushland Reserve is a 20.73-hectare natural features reserve located within Selby east of Melbourne.

This small heathy forest reserve contains the rare Emerald Star Bush and old Messmate Stringybarks and Mountain Grey Gums, which have developed tree hollows, providing important habitat for the Powerful Owl. Due to this bird watchers are often attracted here along with nature photographers. The reserve provides a short walk and you might be lucky enough to come across the odd wallaby, echidna or wombat on your journey.
Snakes are active in the warmer months, so please stay on the existing paths to avoid any unnecessary encounters.

Before you visit check the Fire Danger Rating and for days of Total Fire Ban at www.emergency.vic.gov.au, on the VicEmergency smartphone app or call the VicEmergency Hotline on 1800 226 226.
