Sir Arthur Rylah Oval (Yarra Bend Park)

The Sir Arthur Rylah Oval is a junior sized sports field located adjacent to Studley Park Rd. A synthetic cricket wicket supports cricket matches over summer and the field is also used for soccer and Australian Rules football.

It is accessed from Walmer St, Kew where parking is available in the adjacent car park. The oval is surrounded by large established native trees and shrubs.

Picnic tables, a grassy area and shade are provided. Please use the bins provided. If the bins are full, please take your rubbish away.

Dogs are not allowed on the oval during all sporting events and functions.

In the case of an emergency dial 000 for police, fire, and ambulance. If your network has no signal dial 112 to access any available network.

Kanes Bridge Temporary Closure 19 February 2026

Parks Victoria will be closing Kanes Bridge for one day on the 19th February while critical repair works are undertaken. This closure will prevent pedestrians and cyclists from accessing between Studley Park and the Lower Loop for the day. Whenever possible works will be undertaken during non-peak commuter periods.
 
Please follow signs, respect barriers and stay clear of vehicles and equipment.
 
An alternate walking/cycling route to the other side of the bridge is available via Studley Park Road, the Main Yarra Trail past Dights Falls and Deep Rock Road.

Corben Pavilion/Lower Loop toilets closed

The toilets are currently closed while repairs to the pumping system are underway. They are expected to be reopened by the end of March 2026.
Nearby toilets are available at the Studley Park Picnic Area across Kanes Bridge.
