Springtime Flower Walking Track (Warby-Ovens National Park)

This easy loop walk is a lovely family stroll through Box Ironbark forest rich in birdlife. In spring, wildflowers cover the forest floor. The Grade 2 track is relatively flat and well signed.

Starting at Forest Camp, you can take the shorter northern loop (1.2km, 30mins) or the longer southern loop (3.7km, 2hrs) or combine them. The full is 4.9km and takes around 2.5 hours at a gentle pace.

To shorten the southern loop (to around 2.5km), turn north (right) where the track meets Spring Track and follow it back to Forest Camp instead of following the arrows south (left).

Visitor Tips: wear sturdy footwear and carry plenty of water, especially in hot weather.
