Tankerton Jetty is located on French Island which can only be accessed by passenger ferry from Stony Point The crossing takes approx 15 minutes..
Eco tourism is popular on French Island and tours start from Tankerton Jetty. Visitors can also enjoy fishing and sightseeing from the jetty. Other activites from the jetty include bushwalking, bird watching, horse riding and cycling with bike hire available at the general store.

Jumping and diving off the jetty and other structures is prohibited for public safety. There are shallow areas and often unexpected submerged objects
