Boggy Creek Road in the Wombelano Block of Kinglake National Park closed to motor vehicle traffic

Boggy Creek Road in the Wombelano Block of Kinglake National Park recently had significant roading works undertaken as part of the DELWP Reducing Bushfire Risk program. These works included a section of the road in the adjoining Mt Robertson State Forest. Following recent rain, the road surface has become slippery and unsafe for vehicle traffic. The closed section within the Park, is between Captains Creek Road and Perimeter Tk.  It will remain closed to motor vehicle traffic until the road surface is stable enough to allow for safe travel. Other road and track users should exercise reasonable caution when using Boggy Creek Rd. Motor vehicle access from the Eastern end of Candlebark Tk and Perimeter Tk will also be restricted by the closure
