Change of Conditions

Nature being nature, sometimes conditions can change at short notice. It’s a good idea to check this page ahead of your visit for any updates.

Werribee Regional Park - No vehicle access & pedestrian bridge closed

The pedestrian bridge over Werribee River, which connects Werribee Park to Werribee Regional Park is closed.

Flooding has caused significant damage to the footing of the bridge, and it is not safe to use. The work requires careful planning and design, with many site and environmental factors to be considered, to minimise impact on flora and fauna. Works are expected to take place in mid 2025.

Werribee Mansion and Victoria State Rose Garden remain open. Access via gate 2, off K Road, Werribee South
