Altona Pier
In July 2020, Parks Victoria invited the community to share their ideas and feedback on designs for a redevelopment of the Altona Pier.
The project was part of the Victorian Government’s $24 million Piers and Jetties Stimulus Packages to revitalise the precinct and improve accessibility for the future. As part of the engagement process, Parks Victoria presented 3 potential pier designs and found that 60% of people favoured an angled pier head on a new alignment.
