Accessibility

Visiting a park can be more of a challenge for people with disabilities, however, in Victoria there are a wide range of facilities to help people of all abilities enjoy our wonderful parks around the state. Parks Victoria provides a range of a equipment, including all-terrain and beach wheelchairs, facilities, accommodation and accessibility information and programs to help you plan and enjoy your visit to Victoria's parks.

Assistance dogs are welcome in Parks Victoria parks and reserves. Entry requirements apply for parks and reserves that are usually dog prohibited, such as national parks.

    Motorsport Event – Victorian Hill Climb Championships Rd 7 – Ararat Regional Park

    This motorsport event is to be conducted at One Tree Hill, Ararat Regional Park on Saturday 8 August & Sunday 9 August 2026.

    Please observe all road closures, which will be in place for this event.

    Horse riding Event – Ararat Endurance Ride 2026 – Ararat Regional Park

    The Ararat Endurance Ride organised by Ararat Pony Club and Victorian Endurance Riders Association will take place at the Dunneworthy Block in the northern section of Ararat Regional Park on Saturday 8 August & Sunday 9 August 2026.

    Please observe event signage and drive with caution around horses, riders and support crew.
