Ararat Regional Park Planned Burn Notification - Snake Hill Track - Temporary closure of roads, tracks and visitor sites

Planned burning operations are scheduled in this park which will result in the closure of roads, tracks and visitor sites in and surrounding the burn area from the time a burn is approved for ignition until the area is declared safe.
Closed roads, tracks and visitor sites include:
Snake Hill Track
Main Divide Road (between Dutton Way and Western Highway)
Baird Track
Rusty Track
All MTB tracks within burn unit
Bridal Hill Picnic Ground
Ignition of the burn is scheduled from 20th October 2021 and is subject to favourable weather. Check the status of current planned burns at
