Barmah national park change of condition

Barmah National Park and Ulupna island are Open for camping and other activities, with the following exceptions.
Tracks and areas that are Closed for public safety, and to reduce environmental harm within Barmah National Park are;
Gulf track from Murrays mill to the Gulf is closed due to damage from heavy traffic during recent significant rain events.
Access to the Gulf and the river is still posable via Thorps Lane or River Rd.
River Rd at Pinnucks crossing over Kynmer creek is closed due to Construction of the new Kynmer Creek Regulator/Bridge.
Goulburn-Murray Water, in collaboration with the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority (GBCMA), is undertaking work on a Regulator and bridge structure near the entrance of Kynmer Creek in Barmah National Park.
The Construction period is expected to continue till 18 April 2024 during which this area will be closed to the public.
Waisers beach and other camp sites will remain open with access to River Rd via Suttons track.
During this period construction vehicles will be present between the Murray Valley Highway and Haynes Road, Bearii. Please exercise caution and be aware of changing traffic conditions during works.
