Plenty Gorge Park is approximately 20km north of
Melbourne in South Morang.

Take a look back in time at the historic Hawkstowe picnic ground, set in a secluded area of Plenty Gorge. You'll be impressed by the brick and bluestone Le Page homestead, barn and stables.

This is a perfect spot for a picnic or BBQ that the whole family will enjoy. Electric BBQ's and picnic shelters are available. There are no solid fuel BBQ's. Toilets are located behind Le Page Homestead

Take a walk around the picturesque wetlands. Discover the abundant wildlife, including friendly kangaroos.

Le Page Historic Homestead Opening Hours:
Winter: 8:30AM to 5:00PM
Summer: 8:30AM to 7:00PM

Nioka Bush Camp is currently closed.

Wonga Walk is closed

Wonga Walk trail near Nioka is closed due to flood damage, fallen trees, debris and potholes.

Blue Lake track is closed in some areas

Rockfall has closed the southern end of Blue Lake track. The main loop access is open.

Parklands temporary closure

The section of Plenty Gorge Parklands illustrated in the attached  map will be closed between the hours of 6pm and 6am for pest animal control works. For public safety reasons, no access to this area will be available between the hours 6pm and 6am on the nights of control operations. Signage will be placed at all access points to this section of the parklands two weeks prior to control works commencing, and additional signage will be placed at these access points on the nights of operations. During these time, please do not enter this section of the parklands.
