Rotamah Island Homestead Picnic Area

Rotamah Island is a bushland delight accessible by boat only. Enjoy a relaxing picnic or BBQ by the lake at the picnic area or explore further one of the short walks (up to 1.5hours return) or do the whole loop of the island (3 hours return). Visitors are advised the homestead is not open to the public.

Rotamah Island School Group Campground toilets closed

Due to the remote nature of the island and limited access opportunities the toilets at the Rotamah Island School Group Campground will be closed from the 12/6/24 until waste holding tanks can be emptied. Please contact parks information on 13 19 63 if this affects planned education programs.
