Lower Loop Picnic Area - Toilets and barbecues out of order

The Lower Loop Picnic Area barbecues are out of order and the adjacent toilet block at Corben Oval is closed due to an electrical supply problem.  Final change over to a new electrical supply is expected to occur on the 29th of October 2025, with BBQs and the toilet block operational on 30th of October.

The nearest toilets and barbecues are opposite at the Studley Park Picnic Area, accessed by foot across Kanes Bridge. There are other facilities at Westfield Picnic Area to the north on Yarra Bend Rd.

Parks Victoria apologises for any inconvenience.

Birrarung Marr Floating Landing temporary closure for Greenline boardwalk works

The Birrarung Marr Floating Landing on the Yarra River is temporarily closed to vessel and pedestrian access due to adjacent bank works associated with the Greenline project. 

Works are due to continue until December 2025 and the landing will reopen once completed.

Collins Bridge restricted access during work hours

Collins Bridge access will be restricted for construction works between 9am and 4pm on the following dates:

Tuesday 28 October
Wednesday 29 October
Monday 17 November
Wednesday 19 November
(dates could change subject to weather restrictions)
