Assistance dogs are welcome in Parks Victoria parks and reserves. Entry requirements apply for parks and reserves that are usually dog prohibited, such as national parks.

Wattle Park: Chalet area and BBQ closures following fire

Due to the recent fire impacting the Wattle Park Chalet area, temporary changes are in place to ensure visitor safety.

  • The Wattle Park Chalet area is closed until further notice.
  • All barbecues (BBQs) within Wattle Park are closed until further notice due to impacts from the fire.
  • Temporary fencing has been installed around the Chalet. Please do not enter fenced areas or attempt to bypass barriers.
  • Visitors are asked to follow all onsite signage and directions from Parks Victoria staff.
