  • Notices Affecting Multiple Sites

    Canning Reserve North Fishing Platform closed

    The northernmost timber fishing platform in Canning Reserve on the Maribyrnong River is closed for public safety due to deterioration in the timber structure. 

    Fencing has been installed to prevent public access until necessary inspections and repairs can be completed to the timber structure. 

    Another fishing platform is available 100m to the east of this platform. 

    Notice to River Users - river closures, works, and events

    As Waterway Manager under the Marine Safety Act 2010, Parks Victoria wishes to advise the following waterway closures and activities on the Yarra River, Maribyrnong River and Victoria Harbour.
