  • Balley Hooley Camping Area (Snowy River Heritage River, Snowy River National Park)

    Balley Hooley Heap Burn

    Planned burning operations are scheduled at Balley Hooley Camp Ground, Snowy River National Park.

    There are multiple vegetation heaps leftover from recent campground improvement works.

    The burning of these heaps will result in the temporary closure of the campground and limited access to river from the time the burn is approved for ignition until the area is declared safe. Ignition of the burn is scheduled from Wednesday 21st of May 2025 and is estimated to be completed within 24hrs of ignition. 

    These burns are subject to favourable weather conditions.
