Albert Park Pavilion at Oval One
We’ve built a new shared-use sporting pavilion at Oval One in Albert Park.
Burndap Lake Public Landing Project
Parks Victoria, with the support of Better Boating Victoria, is constructing a purpose built public landing facility at Burndap Lake providing improved access to recreational boating, paddling, fishing and events on the Maribyrnong River.
Chelsea Australian Garden at Olinda Project
A stunning Chelsea Flower Show winning garden is coming to the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden!
David Mandie and Clarke Shields Pavilion upgrades at Albert Park
The David Mandie and Clarke Shields Pavilion at Albert Park has been expanded to deliver new female-friendly and all-abilities access change rooms, as well as a gym, meeting area and physiotherapy space.
The Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT) project is a 160km, world-class natural and cultural walking experience that was opened in November 2021.
Accessing Port Phillip and Corio bays will soon be easier thanks to boating upgrades at Kirk Point boat ramp near Geelong. The area is popular with fishers as well as bird watchers within the adjoining wildlife reserve who use the facility for parking.
Works on a new weir structure had been commenced in 2016 by the Natimuk Lake Foreshore Committee of Management. This project will complete and improve the stability of the weir, establish embankments and ensure the water level of the lake is managed appropriately.
Lake Natimuk Weir consultation
Parks Victoria seeks community feedback on a project to replace the existing Lake Natimuk outlet structure with a new weir, which was initiated by the Natimuk Lake Foreshore Committee of Management.
Repairs have reinstated access to the main section of the pier approach between the foreshore and marina while future planning is undertaken.
To ensure Mordialloc Creek's entrance remains stable and suitable for continued safe boating and pedestrian access for many years to come, we've installed a new sheet pile wall.
Olinda Precinct Project Stage One
Stage one has delivered a nature-based playspace, the Olinda Green sporting oval, a new netball court and new cricket training facilities, provided more opportunities for visitors to get active in nature.
Point Nepean Campground project
A low-impact campground with pre-pitched tents has been built at the Quarantine Station, creating a unique opportunity for people to extend their visit to one of Victoria’s most beautiful and significant national parks.
Portsea Pier Maintenance Project
To ensure the popular and picturesque Portsea Pier remains safe and open, we have delivered a package of maintenance repairs.
Queenscliff South Pier preservation works
A major restoration at the historic Queenscliff South Pier has revitalised its prominence in the area's vibrant maritime history and ensures its survival for many more years.
Visitors to Gippsland Lakes Reserve can now experience a better understanding of Gunaikurnai culture with a newly installed 1.7km walk through the beautiful landscape of Raymond Island on Tatungalung Country.
