Volunteer

Volunteering in parks is a great way to contribute to conserving Victoria’s special places. The many personal benefits of volunteering include learning more about plants and wildlife, gaining new skills, being in the outdoors, improving health and well being and meeting new friends. Time spent in nature also reduces stress and promotes physical wellbeing.

CHANGED CONDITIONS DUE TO RECENT SEVERE WEATHER

The October 28-29 storms have impacted Parks Victoria sites. Many large trees have fallen onto walking tracks, fences, and access roads. The soft and muddy ground caused by the heavy rain means there are still many trees at risk of falling.
Parks Victoria staff are working to assess and remove hazardous trees and restore access.
