Take a leisurely stroll to The Gable Lookout. View to view the iconic cliffs of the Great Ocean Road, treacherous Southern Ocean and reefs off Moonlight Head. There is an easy 400 metre walk from the carpark to a viewing platform where you will be rewarded with spectacular coastal and ocean views.

Park closures due to COVID19

Ahead of the Easter long weekend, Parks Victoria has closed additional high-visitation parks to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). This Easter the message is clear. Stay home. Protect our health system. Save Lives. This park will be closed from midnight on 8 April 2020 until further notice to protect the health of staff and volunteers. Campground closure

As directed by the Chief Health Officer all campsites, camping grounds and caravan parks closed from midnight 25 March 2020.
People can continue to live on a closed caravan park or camping ground if it is registered as their primary place of residence or if they are staying in caravan parks as interim accommodation where their primary residence is not available. For further information go to parks.vic.gov.au/COVID19

Kennett-Wye Jeep Track and Bird Track closed

Kennett-Wye Jeep Track and Bird Track will be closed until 30 June 2020 due to a landslip undermining the road.

Herbert's Campground closed

Herbert’s Campground is closed until further notice due to hazardous trees.

Wye River Campground closed

Wye River Road Camping Area is closed until further notice due to dangerous trees

Upper Kalimna track closed

The Upper Kalimna Falls walking track is closed until further notice due to damage to the boardwalk and lookout. The Lower Kalimna Falls are still accessible from Sheoak Picnic Area via Kalimna Walking Track and from Garvey Track via Kalimna Link Track.

Jamieson Campground closed

The Jamieson Campground, Jamieson Track and Godfrey Track, are closed until Easter 2020 to allow for site upgrades.
